As the Head teacher of St Patrick’s, Dipton, I am proud and privileged to introduce you to our wonderful school. Our school is a fantastic place to learn, achieve and thrive.
Our school is a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment where personality, talents and interests are nurtured and developed to the full; a place where children can contribute and make a positive difference. The staff in our school believe in the power of education to transform lives and the right of every child to receive the best possible start. We are proud of the rich heritage of our school building and the history of education it has provided for many pupils. As a Catholic school, we warmly welcome children of the Catholic faith as well as those following other faith traditions.
Our Values
Schools, through their curriculum, are legally bound to teach and promote fundamental British values. These are values that have been attributed, by the government, to being British. They fall into the following broad areas. At St. Patrick’s, we reflect British values in all that we do. We actively promote these values in many ways.
Letters
We send out letters and newsletters on a regular basis to keep parents up to date with school decisions and progress.
At St Patrick's, we keep our parents, carers and families informed about upcoming events and celebrations of our children's successes. We regularly publish a newsletter, which is sent out electronically to all of our parents and is made available on this page. We also use Social media to share the very latest events, learning and religious celebrations that take place within our school.
